Laz Nite at Rock Town

Pickoids,

What a great session last night. Thanks muchly to Mark Green who worked hard to make the evening a success. Rock Town (next to the guitar center on Chenal) was a very nice place and we had a good crowd that clapped loudly for every song.

We started out a small group and by 8:30 had a good number of Nobodies. There were 9 of us.

One couple left after eating and then returned in 30 minutes and stayed to the end just to hear us. Many of the employees and customers said they loved the music. Another couple ate at Guadalajara's three Wednesdays in a row so they could catch our act.

The idea of having multiple performers must be appealing to the public since they do not have to listen to the same singer on every song.

-Jay Atkins blew them away with Folsom Prison Blues
-Mic-de-pic was awesome as usual but came late and not many heard him.
-Byran Byrd sounded great on his songs.
-Marvin destroyed them with his mandolin picking.
-Mark Green blew harmonica and did a solo that brought the house down.
-John Magee, a new nobody, got to perform live for the first time and loved it.
-Bob the bassman brought all of the equipment and helped Mark. (where would we be with out ya Bob)

Overall it was really nice to be appreciated for our performance.

Thanks again Mark for setting this up and Rock Town of course wants us back as soon as we can( so does Guadalajara's).
