Well I have good news and bad news.......
I have 70 songs recorded from three sessions. Some of them are quite good. However, after the first session when I encountered popping on the recordings that I could not explain...I decided to speed the tape up to a higher speed to get a better sound. It did fix the popping.
Of course I let the dern tape run out and lost an hour of music...dumb....sorry...
I lost Judge Vic's song that drew excellent praise and it appears lost most of the great Lyle Dent's picking. I only have him playing fiddle a couple of times.
Sorry guys .. I shoulda noticed the tape.
We'll now that the palace is minimally equiped as a recording studio we will record again. ( we have experts on recording amounst us if they could give me a hand).
