This week our Pickoid of the week is Mark Hammonds. Mark's voice is pure as honey and his picking is top-flight. Mark's ability to almost perfectly imitate great singers such as John Denver and Gordon Lightfoot is phenomenal.
Further, he can pick just about any style music you would like to listen to. Not only can he flat-pick with the best of them he also can fingerpick in a most beautiful way.
Mark joined a bluegrass band last year called "Something Blue" and if you are lucky enough you might catch him live on stage. I have a feeling he should be the star of that band and will probably end up just that.
