DIRECTIONS:

Go west on hiway 10 past Walton helghts and turn left on Sam Peck. Proceed past the YMCA and the Little Rock Athletic Club and take first Street to the left which is Butterfield. Proceed all the way to the end and park in the cul-de-sack. It is the house that is down the hill #12

come in throught the glass doors on the deck without knocking.

Bob Pennington is the picker that did wildwood flower on  CD6.... The you also heard him do some great flat picking backing up Charlie Teas on the Song "Big Iron" on the Authenic Bluegrass CD.

Instrument Discussions / Mountain Music

Hey a new music store to check out in Springdale....

I was up to see TomH and that night drove down 471 that night and spotted Mountain Music but it was closed. Seein how I had full day coming the next morning I did not get to check their instrument selection.

Maybe TomH or TBarne could check it out for us since they stays up on the hill. Send us a post you guys. It about halfway between I540 and old 71 on 412.

Using three new wireless headphones we recorded some fine music, Drained about half of the world's supply of Scotch and in general acted like kids.........

We will pick the night before Thanksgiving and already have 4 pickoids who have committed to play.

Notice the calendar icon in the upper right hand corner of the main page......

This is the calendar for Arkansas Bands and gigs. Right now we have Something Blue posting. Mark Hammond an origonal Pickoid, is in this Band so let's turn out and support them.

Then The Intruders and longtime well known Rock and roll Band led by my friend Chris Newell plays at Cajun's ...maybe the top gig in town.

David Nelson is in a Band too but he hasn't posted their schedule yet.

 I have been having problems recording clear cuts. I am getting some electrical static occsionally.  I can't pin it to anyone stepping on mic wires and I would not think it was caused by some listening thru the headphones and moving around.

I have even considered whether a cell phone next to the mixer might cause this static. Then it might be something else entirely.

Anyway does anyone out there with more knowledge know what the cause of this might be?
