Pickoid Discussions / WOORMOR auto tuner

So I bought one these automatic tuners and after a few trial and errors finally got it right ...It is wonderful and tunes the guitar better than you can with the Snarks and others. The best setting is AUTO then Chromatic as the instrument. Once you have it set right put the Woormor on the key and stroke the appropriate string. Warning do not stroke the wrong string or the Woormor will attempt to tune the intended string all the way up to the string you plucked. It has other functions and is good for quickly tuning to an alternate such as open D. It also states that it is good when you first put the strings on it will wind them all the way to the intended tuning.

Join us to celebrate Johnny’s 85th bday at the Pickoid Palace. 6 -7pm cocktail hour , followed by picking. Then about 8:30 pm we will stop and have some cake .....

If you have never been ...you simply must come . You can give me your reservations or call Mrs. Carr at Shangri-La that way you can get the room or cabin that you want. 870-867-2011. The plan: Arrive sometime Friday afternoon and find other Pickoids for fun and picking.
Then at 7 pm we will have a Crappie dinner in the cafe. Need to know how many are coming to the dinner so let BigA know. After dinner there is a Jam outside if possible if not in Big A 's cabin. Saturday morning you are on your on to hike , fish , play tennis or pick. Saturday afternoon there is usually a jam out on the lawn .Saturday night you are on your on in the cafe with a jam to follow so long as we can stay awake anyway hehe. Sunday morning have breakfast at the cafe and pick up your whole pie to take home ( you have to order it Saturday) then head back to wherever you picked from . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PERFECT Big A
