The Pickoids have been hit and miss this winter, so let's get back some of our enthusiasm. By now you have cabin fever and mid-winter blues. Break out of the rut and come play some music. We will have beverages to ward off the cold and snacks. Plan on starting about 7:00 and ending at 10:00.

So you have the post Labor Day Weekend blues. Come play those blues at my house tonight. Other genres of music are also allowed. The usual snacks and beverages provided. (I still have not found a former Miss Arkansas to shuttle folks to the top of the hill on a 4 wheeler, so practice your hill climbing as well as picking.)

April 29 is a Day of Remembrance for Victims of Chemical Warfare, National Shrimp Scampi Day and Zipper Day. It is also PICKOIDS JAM NIGHT. There will not be any shrimp scampi, keep you zippers zipped, and the only chemicals will be alcohol in nature. Some come on over for the company of friends and good music. The fun starts about 7:00 p.m. and will end around 10:00. (Unless there is a demand for bonus songs.)

This regular Wednesday night will be double scary. It is right before Halloween and Election Day. So polish up your tunes about ghosts, disasters, and politics for this special night. There will be Halloween treats and refreshments. Wear a costume if you feel the urge.
