Ozark Blues Society's "Blues In The Natural State"
« on: July 11, 2007, 08:22:50 PM »
Hey y'all...on Saturday, 07/21/07 the group I play in, "Big Blue", will take the stage at George's Majestic Lounge located on Dickson St. in Fayetteville, AR., for the annual "Blues In The Natural State" Music Festival.  Two of your fellow Pickoids will be taking part in that event...myself, a.k.a. "Tappin' Ted", and Ben Brenner, a.k.a. "Swamp Donkey".  The former name of our group was "Mike 'Whisker Fish" Dollins and The Big Blue Cats", but now we are simply known as "Big Blue".  The event gets underway at 4 P.M. with two groups proceeding us and we come on at 6 p.m. and will play an hour set of about 10-12 songs.  If you'd like more information on the event, our band, and/or the other acts that will be playing you can put Ozark Blues Society in your search engine and once your on the site it'll give you the link to the event and the groups, times, etc.  Hope to see some of "y'all cats" there!
