Using fingerpicks on a guitar

 Like so many pickers I get no volume when I fingerpick. I cannot grow fingernails out and keep them at a certain length like most of the really good players. See picture at bottom of page


Since I use a four finger picking style my solution is to use 3 Ernie Ball Needle picks; index , middle and third finger. Buy them here    https://www.ernieball.com/guitar-accessories/guitar-picks/finger-thumb-guitar-picks

For the thumb I use a three pronged thumb pick that has a middle prong that sticks out and is longer than the two side prongs. This design is the best I have used for clean picking. Regular thumb picks are so big at the business end that they are likely to hit the wrong string if you aren't careful.

If you know the offical name of this thumb pick I would appreciate a repy to this post. That way pickers can ask for the right one at the music store. See picture at bottom of page
