Yo, Chris:
Get out your airbrush & correct that headstock.  
I notice that the worm gears are situated below the string posts on the otherwise wonderful Pickoids gueetar..  If this was so, the conventional tuning sense (clockwise to sharpen, ccwise to flatten) is violated.  Oh, I suppose that you could wind the strings on backwards & everything would null out, except that the nut would have to be recut or you'd have a hell of a lot of busted strangs on your hands.

Ouch, that's actually from a scale drawing of the squareneck reso I built.  I have yet to put the tuners on.  I hope I didn't drill from that drawing!
