I have a story scheduled for reading at the "Tales of the South" program on Tuesday, June 28. The program will be at the Starving Artists Cafe in North Little Rock. Reading starts at 7 p.m. and dinner is available before then. The program has begun a $5 per person entry charge.
My short story concerns the funeral of Sandy's mother, a traditional Southern Baptist event with an astonishing surprise ending.
It would be terrific to have friends on hand, so please consider coming out that night. The food is very good, too, if you're interested in dinner.
With limited seating, these shows are most always sold out. I have been assigned a table and can reserve places. Please let me know if you'd like me to hold seats for you. Otherwise, you can make reservations on your own or show up that night and see if space is available.
